Biography
João Menezes is a Portuguese musician and teacher based in London that specialises in Brazilian Music.
He began his music studies at “JB Jazz” in Lisbon and later moved to London to study at the acclaimed “Guildhall School of Music & Drama”.
João found his love for Brazilian music after listening to “João Gilberto”, and since then he has been developing his repertoire, exploring all the different rhythms of Brazil and performing solo and with his band all around the UK and Europe.
